Manage access to content collections
There are two different mode for using Pantheon Content Publishers when it comes to who can contribute to a collection
- Mode “Workspace”: any user of the Google workspace can connect and publish to the collection.
- Mode “Private”: only a restricted list of users can connect and publish to the collection. (users have to be in workspace still)
By default collections are created in the Private mode. Collection Admins are capable of changing them as Private and reverting them to Workspace when this has been done.
When a collection is private, the collection admin will be able to
- add authorized users
- remove authorized users
By default, after a Collection has been set as private for the first time, only the admin is authorized. When a Private Collection is set back to Public, and then set back to Private, the list of authorized users initially created is recovered so that the admin does not have to enter them again.
This can be done from the Content Publisher administration interface available at https://content.pantheon.io. Users will admin rights are able there to manage the admins, visibility, and collaborators (if the collection’s visibility is private).
